When designing a wedding, I select pieces that will make an impact. The selection has to fit with the vibe of the venue. At Main Street Ballroom in Ellicott City, you will find lots of industrial pieces of furniture that accentuate the space throughout. It was exhilarating combining luxurious items such as this large gold mirror with industrial pieces to elevate the décor of this wedding. ​

Shopping the vintage markets and estate sales takes time, as I look for the perfect piece for my clients. This could take weeks or even months, until I find what I am looking for. ​

For this 2022 wedding, I found the 7 foot mirror at an antique shop in Harrisburg PA while visiting a friend. We cleaned it and spray painted it metallic gold to give it a face lift. We then used it as a seating chart with guest names attached with wax seals onto the mirror. The final result was absolutely stunning once we added the florals. ​
